Switzerland defends No. 1 position as most attractive country for large family businesses.
Switzerland has once again been chosen by the ""Stiftung Familienunternehmen"" (Munich) as the best location for large family businesses and hence defends its top position - in the last survey two years ago, Switzerland was already able to assert itself as the number one. The assessment is based on an analysis by the Mannheim Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW), in which areas of particular importance to family businesses were compared: Taxation, financing, infrastructure, labour costs, labour productivity, regulation and energy.
